Alright if you are down for a real authentic German experience, then this is the place. I mean not only the food, but even down to the Kraut Nazi! The food is as authentic as it can get, from Leberkaese to freshly made sauerkraut for those wünderbar rueben sandwiches. But don't be fooled, if you don't have your shit together when you order, it's like an episode of Seinfeld. The kraut Nazi comes out and you are shaking in your boots, you'll need to order or get out of line. There is no time for decisions at the counter, or "Out you go,... no kraut for you!.... 2 weeks!"

The splendid little hassle of remembering my 2 failing years of German in High School to decipher the menu and what is being said behind the counter is all worth the final out come of savory deliciousness. The deli is a wonderful little escape from the hustle of downtown and lets you sit back and relax with good brats, brews, and buddies.
